Options for pet air travel are extremely limited at this time and it is unclear when travel will begin to normalize. Our PenderAIR team is closely following the changing regulations and requirements to ensure we continue to provide the highest level of service for our clients and their pets.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you are planning on traveling with your pet, as some destinations may require additional time to prepare requirements and/or may be impossible at this time.
Due to current airline and country restrictions as well as increased demand for air travel, we are unable to respond to new inquiries at this time.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
Personal Interests: I enjoy singing, hanging out with close friends (pre-covid), watching movies, playing games with my cat, and taking care of my families pets.
My first pet: My first pet was a gerbil named Phillis, named after “The Office” character. She was pitch black, with a white spot on her tail. She was also an escape artist so I would come home from work to find her running around my room. I tried to find a friend for her, but even after slowly introducing them through their cages, Phillis was not about sharing her home. Sunflower seeds were her favorite treat!
My current pets: I have a tuxedo cat named Ferdinand, who is 4 years old. He has lived with multiple other pets during our times of fostering. He has moved with me through 8 different houses.
Why I chose to work in this field: A few months after graduating college, I had to ask myself what would make me happy in this life, and got a job as a Kennel Attendant at the Humane Society in Savannah, and have worked through various departments in Animal Welfare. Through cleaning kennels, doing transports for rescue animals, and veterinary technician work, I wouldn’t chose to be in any other field.
My Experience & Education: I went to school for Performing Arts, and graduated with a Bachelors degree. This taught me public communication skills, and how to work together as an ensemble to achieve a shared goal. These skills helped me work my way up from working as a kennel attendant, to creating a Transport Program for rescue pets, to working as the Director of Operations at the Humane Society in Savannah.
