Options for pet air travel are extremely limited at this time and it is unclear when travel will begin to normalize. Our PenderAIR team is closely following the changing regulations and requirements to ensure we continue to provide the highest level of service for our clients and their pets.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you are planning on traveling with your pet, as some destinations may require additional time to prepare requirements and/or may be impossible at this time. Due to high volume, we are responding to all new requests in order of travel date.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
My professional interests include soft tissue surgery and Theriogenology. I helped found “Pets on Wheels”, which provides pet visits to nursing homes through the state of Virginia. I also serve on the Board of Clinical Practice at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.
My personal interests include spending time with my family, farming, fishing, woodworking, horseback riding, and taking care of my family pets (2 dogs, 7 cats, 1 burro, and 1 horse). I’m also a very proud member of the Grandpa’s club. My entire family is active in our Church and within our community. I truly enjoy giving back and serving to improve veterinary medicine in general. I also truly enjoy the people and relationships in my life. This is why my work is so rewarding for me.
DVM from Ohio State University
I have been passionately pursuing my career in veterinary medicine since I was 10 years old. This was founded with personal pets and working on family and friends’ farms. Dr. Don Powell and I became partners in 1971 with a dream of building a state-of-the-art veterinary practice, grounded on the principals of integrity, compassion, and quality of care.
