My dog, horseback riding, country life, and travel
Having grown up on a farm, I’ve always had a strong love for all animals. When I was about 19 years old and attending George Mason University, I found myself living just a couple blocks away from Pender Vet Fairfax. My mom suggested I apply for a job there, and the rest is history!
While working at Pender Vet, I realized just how complicated trying to relocate a pet to a foreign country can be. Often, by the time a client had reached Pender they had already been given so much misinformation that they were hopelessly confused about the process. Being able to explain the regulations and requirements so clients can feel confident in their pet’s move after having been so confused is incredibly rewarding. I love being able to help clients out in even the toughest situations, and will do everything I can in even the toughest of overseas moves! The pet travel world is full of regulations and red tape, but the lasting bonds we make with our clients and their pets is well worth it to me.
