Covid-19 Travel Update
Options for pet air travel are extremely limited at this time and it is unclear when travel will begin to normalize. Our PenderAIR team is closely following the changing regulations and requirements to ensure we continue to provide the highest level of service for our clients and their pets.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you are planning on traveling with your pet, as some destinations may require additional time to prepare requirements and/or may be impossible at this time. Due to high volume, we are responding to all new requests in order of travel date.

Can I book appointments with specific veterinarians?

Yes – Just ask – we have several doctors that have special interests in many areas. Take a peek at our doctor biographies to get to know our Doctor Team better.
If I can walk into the Emergency Centre at any time and see a doctor, why should I try to book an appointment through the Veterinary Centre?

An appointment is important so we can take time with you and and plan and assess your pet’s needs. We can request a special doctor or time that works with your day too.
My cat doesn’t like to ride in the car! Do you offer house-call service?

Yes we do and we have a Pender Mobile and will come to your door with a Veterinary Doctor and Technician. Please call to schedule one.
My pet is having surgery today. How long should I withhold food and water?

The night before surgery for your dog and cat. Remove the food just prior to midnight and the water may remain available in a small amount. For exotics, we do not need to withhold food or water prior to surgery: so they can eat right up!
